There can be a few different reasons for a loud, or unusual noise while your toilet tank is filling. For example, high water pressure can cause a loud noise as the toilet fills. As well as debris in the fill valve seal, or buildup inside of the fill valve. This problem could possibly be solved by removing the fill valve cap and cleaning any dirt, or debris inside of the valve. Worn seals in the fill valve can also cause the loud noise. Lastly if the pipes in the wall are not strapped to the framing properly could produce a loud, or unusual banging noise.
