There are a couple different versions of the Mansfield 160 toilet tank. One of the versions has the 211-1112 tower style flush valve in the center of the tank. The 211-1112 moves up and down in order to create an opening for the water to flush into the bowl. This model will use the model 160 parts. The other version of the 160 uses a flapper style flush valve in the center of the tank. This model will come with a flapper, and chain that attaches to the flush lever. When the flush handle is pushed down it will pull the chain up causing the flapper to rise, and allow the water to flush into the bowl. If you have the flapper style flush valve you will need to know if it is a 2 inch, or 3 inch flapper. Keep in mind the 2 inch flapper will measure about 3 inches across the top, and the 3 inch flapper will measure closer to 4 inches. If you have a 2 inch flapper it will use the tank model 173 parts. If the toilet has a 3 inch flapper it will use the tank model 3173 parts.
